Hunger

Hunger is less
for the pea-
nut butter sandwich

jammed
       between
her lipsticked lips
then sips
of sense-
      less passion
after.

  3. Whew. That is yummy. I love that sneaky little "sense after" you stacked ... because we really don't worry about whether or not our passion makes sense, until after.

The line break after "pea" makes me think of The Princess and the Pea ... giving her something to do when she can't sleep, maybe. :)

  4. Your stacking is really clever.

    "between 'sticked' lips"

I even see "of sensei-less passion" :) ... So maybe fiery martial arts, without a teacher.

Then at the end, I see "say less passion, after" ... Like, if you break up with someone and then say it wasn't really that hot anyway (even though it was).

  6. I can't stop thinking of peanut butter between really red lips... and fetishes. Very strong imagery, Bjorn.

  8. Hunger certainly cannot be satisfied with food alone. There are other outlets for its fulfillment!

  9. Peanut butter sandwiches quench hunger pangs, that's all they do for me. Lucky lady here. I eat several soda cracker and peanut putter treats daily, taking them with medication.

  10. This made me hungry as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are one of my favorite things! I hope your eye is much better and the gas bubble is gone. Maybe instead of "sips" "bites?" Highly emotional. Lol!
