Out of the washbowl
I scoop up,
my distorted face (Sumitaki Kenshen)
remembering the silence
of your moonless sleep

Choka - Thunderstom
rippled cumulus
the sky's an anguished brow
sentences afloat
raindrops falling from her lips
as arbor arms waves
in sudden gust of syllables
the flowers shudder
for yet unopened letter
thunderbolt to strike
a raven seeks her shelter
softness of your hand
turned granite from what's done
kisses of deceit
your skirt was raised by a wind
by his hands of thunderstorms
